Can anybody tell me the ending?

I went to see the movie with my 6-year-old son. He was scared when the Brown family came to rescure the bear at the museum, Nicle was about to stuff the bear. He asked to leave and so we did. So I didn't see the ending. Can anybody tell me about it ? If this is allowed to ask here.

Spoilers, obviously.

Paddington tries to escape through an incinerator shaft leading to the roof. Millicent sets it on fire and Paddington climbs up using dust busters to hold on to the sides. Mr. Brown rescues him just as the batteries run out and he is about to fall. Millicent meets the family on the roof and is about to shoot them, when Mrs. Bird climbs up and knocks her off the roof. Paddington goes to live with the Browns, and Millicent is sentenced to community service at a petting zoo. The monkey that she planned to stuff uses a bulldozer to dump manure on her (my son thought it was hilarious, so I had to add that). Hopefully that made sense!

One correction and one addtion.

Mr. Brown rescues him just as the batteries run out and he is about to fall.

Actually the whole family catches Paddington together as he is about to fall from near the top to the chimney back down into the flames. the kids each have ahold of Paddington and the parents have ahold of the kids.

Millicent meets the family on the roof and is about to shoot them, when Mrs. Bird climbs up and knocks her off the roof.

Before this happens the family stands up to Millicent and tells her she will have get them too if she's going to get Paddington, Millicent states she has no problems with this and will stuff Mr. Brown (or perhaps the whole family I'm not sure) too. Paddington throws his sandwich at her which causes all the nearby pidgeons to swarm her almost knocking her off the roof, but she catches her balance at the edge. That's when Mrs. Bird (drunk from having drunk the guard under the table so he would not see the family on the security monitors) opens the door under Millcent's feet and accidently knocks her off the roof.

That was a nice nod to the rescue scene in Home Alone 2.
