I've seen the trailers, and I'm not gonna lie. This film looks like a piece of crap. How is this 5 stars?? All I see in the trailers is unfunny, lame gross out and slapstick humor. Plus the story plot with Mr. Brown and Paddington looks cliche and not that interesting...
I do like Paddington's voice though, and I noticed a little Mary Poppins reference...
It's set in London, how could it not be charming? And it's not a great trailer, but yes...the film is very charming, funny, sweet, endearing and a great advertisement for good manners. You should watch it instead of pre-judging.

I see. I heard Bonneville actually said this film changed his life. I will give it a chance too. I hope it's good, but I don't think it'll beat the original stories.
