One thing that slightly disappointed me...

I felt like they beautifully captured the spirit of the source material... I used to watch the tv show wayyyyy back probably 20-something years ago... not in the least bit disappointed with the movie...

anyways, the one thing that disappointed me was the credits...

Usually movies based on childrens books end with a fanciful, fun ending credits, usually with the characters doing fun things and illustrated like the books, this would have been a marvelous movie to end with something like that... but nope, just black credits and some annoying pop song written for the movie...

Soooooo disappointed =(

They might had not have the budget by then for fancy titles.

I thought that, too. A few photos of fun times and mishaps in his new home would have been nice to accompany the credits.

And I was fully expecting a nod to the original series theme tune by the buskers who kept appearing every other scene.

I liked it though.

I agree. I was waiting for some fun credits too.
