Had a smile on my face the entire time

Seriouslu, this was an excellent family film and a great movie full stop. Brilliant direction and effects, warming performances, very funny and heartfelt. You can't get much better really, defintely a classic for when I hopefully have kids in the future.

She's very good in it, very funny and menacing villain. She is enjoying herself you can tell.

I absolutely agree. I booked a ticket and later found out at the screening that it was sold out. In the end I was surrounded by children and their parents. There was applause at the end of the film and there was a wonderful atmosphere. I loved the film, and I wanted to see it as I had grown up with Paddington and loved the fondly remembered BBCTV series narrated by Michael Hordern. The film was much better than I expected. Ben Whishaw was right on the money as the voice of Paddington. Everyone applauded at the end. I really do recommend this. Totally charming, Michael Bond must be really pleased with this, sequel please! Thanks to all involved with the making.

Agree wholeheartedly. Lovely film - funny, warm-hearted, just a sheer joy. Perfect cast. Loved Hugh Bonneville as the constantly worried dad, he was so funny dressed as a womam. And Ben Whishaw's voice is perfect. If they can keep up this quality, a sequel would be fab!
