Despite the tone of that article, I doubt it took much to "lure" Paul King back. In earlier interviews, he seemed very keen on making more Paddington films - the only concern was whether the first would make enough money to allow sequels (which of course it now has - comfortably).

Also note that King will be co-writing again. Interesting that it will be with Simon Farnaby: the article mentions Farnaby's Mighty Boosh connection, but he's probably best known to UK audiences for Horrible Histories...

Yea I mean Paddington will be liked by kids and adults alike, I personally thought it would of made money as esp after DVD/Blu Ray has come out!

But it would of made it's money back anyway if it hadn't of made it's budget back from cinema release, They have lot'sssss to go with all the books being 80+ and TV series

Well I have known about Paul King for years esp with Mighty Boosh,Horrible sisters etc etc]
