This was boring...
I was interested in watching this movie because it gave me the impression that it would provide some sort of insight to how we view emotion, or romanticism, or how sentimental feelings of love and how arbitrary they are these days in this brave new world, but it BARELY touched on that. Then for some strange reason it was heavily ladened with a bunch of political and economic commentary. I thought this movie was called 'The GIRLFRIEND Experience' not 'The Socio-economic Experience'
A part of me thinks that's the title DRY-Soda-bergh was going for but the studio kept saying 'no' until he disguised it as a 'different' movie.
I'm not a 'film' guy; I don't slobber over Kubrick and I need to hear/watch an in-depth analysis to appreciate these 'high brow' movies or else I would continue to hate them for how boring and strange they are, but this was just wrong.
