Worthless movie, amazing support on imdb
The length that people go to, to support this worthless film, is simply amazing. Something does not jive, as they say.

shareMany people like the movie, you don't. End of story.
shareI think my subject title speaks for itself. The lengths you'll go to to bash a movie you hated is simply amazing. If you don't like it, who cares? You're not going to change anyone's opinion by bashing it.

I think "they" say jibe, jive turkey.

What didn't you like about it?

No plot, nothing happens, awful performances by all the actors, awful score.
shareOh that's weird. I enjoyed the plot (lame excuse everyone uses), really liked the performances (second lame excuse everyone uses) and thought the score was very interesting and kept noticing it throughout the movie. Weird. Then again, most people would complain about the same things you do if they had to sit through a movie that was as slow paced as this was. The only flaw I find is the editing, which made the movie more confusing than it needed to be. The time line jumping could have been a little more clear.

lame excuses my ass.
Sasha sucks (and not dicks precisely), she is inexpressive, never smiles, never cries, never changes her voice, never changes her face.
Plot? what plot? all they do is babbling about Obama´s plan and making money.
Score? sounded like some guy with Parkinson hitting a thrash can.
You ever stop to think that Sasha was playing her character exactly the way it was written? Maybe that's exactly how the writers and directors wanted her to be. Just because you didn't like it, doesn't mean she didn't do a great job and portraying that character. I know people that are like her in real life. Keanu Reeves plays a fairly wooden character in just about everything.
Every movie has a plot, regardless of whether everyone (including you) likes it or not. The plot to this movie was fairly obvious. Why do you ask "what plot?" It was pretty simple, no twists involved. If you didn't like the movie's story, that doesn't mean it didn't have one. It was very slow and simple, but it was there. That's why saying a movie had no plot is a lame excuse. How about say, "I didn't like the plot, because I thought it was boring, cliche, over complicated, blah blah blah whatver.
I still have no idea what you mean about the score. Once again, I am sure you didn't like it for whatever reasons you don't seem to be able to express in words, but I really liked it.

I gotta agree with bio, for the most part.
The movie was too disjointed and definitely poorly edited with respect to the chronology. The main character, in my opinion, was totally uninteresting - a shallow, beautiful, vapid 20-something rich idiot who prejudges people using astrology. The scene where she breaks up with Chris put in the nail in the coffin on me caring anything about this character. An entire movie revolving around this character most people cannot relate to and to whom nothing overly interesting happens...
I also agree with bio about the plot. People make movies to entertain, get a message across, tell a story, etc. This movie failed on all aspects, in my opinion. There was no real conflict, hard to pinpoint a climax (likely due to the disjointed nature), no underlying message or lesson to be learned. I hate to use this analogy but to me it was the cinematic equivalent of masturbation - tries hard to be the real thing but ends up failing.
The boyfriend Chris was actually a good actor (although the character he played was a pretty big douche - sry, I actually know people just like that) and I hope he does get more roles.
People are entitled to their opinions though and if they liked this movie enough to buy the DVD, then more power to them. I happen to agree with the OP though, which is why I posted under this thread. Take away Soderbergh and Sasha Grey fans and their votes and you probably have a more realistic score for this movie.
