He gave this piece of *beep* 4 stars. This was the most boring, pretentious piece of crap movie I've ever seen. It's just a bunch of clips of a whore talking about the socio-economic climate of 2008 with her clients, WTF? And why is she so traumatized that some guy wanted her to put a Q-tip on her vagina? This movie was pointless.

I'm not normally a fan of Ebert, or Siskel for that matter. Most often I watch everything they pan just because I think they are both boring, pretentious a$$holes. But this is on I have to agree with Ebert on. It's aspot on biopic of an otherwise unknown area of everyday like. It's certainly not for the ignorant or pretentious.

it's probably for the same reasons that you'd be uncomfortable if someone did some you were uncomfortable with. This should be obvious to any human being on the planet and not really need any explanation, however in Chelsea's world this would be certainly more expressive as to the nature of the clientele that frequent call girls and aren't there just for the sex. Hence the higher price tag and weirder the clientele. Aren't you glad you're not humiliated at your place of work.

It would certainly seem this way to a small minded individual with a narrow view of the world we live in. You probably wouldn't appreciate "Bangladesh" if George Harrison didn't bring it out into the light. Boy, wouldn't it be nice if everything tasted just like vanilla or was rosey colored.
Dislike what UR viewing _what UR hearing _whatever's happening! U could go elsewhere or turn it off
I agree that 4.0 out of 4.0 is way too high. I gave it 0.5 out of 4.0.
BTW, why do directors think that presenting a story in a non-linear fashion is so great? I figure the screenwriter couldn't write a coherent movie, so he just scrambled everything to confuse the audience.
This movie makes Leaving Las Vegas look great by comparison.
But wasn't it more or less linear? Sure, some of the scene changes may have seemed somewhat abrupt and/or arbitrary, but the sequence of events in the underlying story (insofar as we are able to agree on one definitive underlying narrative) were shown in pretty strict chronological order, no? _____ I suppose on a clear day you can see the class struggle from here.
