I understand why a lot of people might not like it, but everyone obviously has their own movie tastes. I like Sofia Coppola movies, so I could handle this one pretty well. The elongated scenes, almost reality show-esque, but not really. I've seen a lot of god awful movies, and this one isn't on any of my 'top' list but its definitely not on the worst either.

Soderbergh is one of the most fascinating filmmakers out there. This film was obviously his from start to finish, and I'd bet a lot that it's exactly how he wanted it to turn out. He's a really puzzling filmmaker - he doesn't always "aim high".

Agreed! Some people just don't get it...
I think they might once the series starts to show on Cinemax...
