Several coincidences between Leonard and my late hubby.

I too thought it was a very thoughtful, sensitive romantic movie. However it was somewhat difficult for me to watch. The reason is there were several similarities or coincidences Leonard held with my late hubby. Jerry worked at a Dry Cleaners. He was Jewish. He was diagnosed with a mood disorder. His hobby was photography. Plus he passed away from what I believe from the chemical from where he was employed. I experienced a dejavue sensation with this film.

I have watched films that have hit close to home, too.

I, for some reason, identify with the boy in Perfect World.

Films that have children in jeopardy at the hands of adults are unbearable to me.
Suffice it to say, I was once a child in jeopardy.
