question about the love-making scene between leonard and sandra.........

after sandra leaves and leonard looks up at michelle's window...it seems that michelle might have seen leonard and sandra getting it on. so i'm curious does anyone think she DID infact see them or can we not know for sure and if she DID see them then what are we suppose to take away from that shot? what would that make michelle feel? would seeing that make her desire leonard now that she sees him "puttin' it down" with another chick? it seemed to me that leonard didn't know his shades were drawn so is it that in that moment of making love to the "right" woman he was "happy, in the moment" and if from that moment on (had he stopped persuing michelle) is the point that he would have "won" in life by quitting while he was now ahead with sandra?

i'm curious to hear anyone's take on that, thanks.

His bed is back from the window. Plus, when he goes to his window to look at hers, he does not look straight ahead. He has to look left and up.
