Why not drink other bodily fluids?
Don't the men have other fluids that would make for more pleasurable drinking than urine? I'm serious. Don't stranded people ever think of this?
shareLol, I'm sure stranded people have done this. The problem is these "fluids" come in very small quantities, which would be even smaller in situations where the man is dehydrated.
The leader of this moronic expedition was so foolish, he doomed them to death with one terrible decision after another. You never go 80 miles off pavement with out emergency supplies of food and water, and letting some people know where you are going. If the Lacey character is so smart, why does she let this happen?
If anything good comes from this very bad film, maybe it will save some lives by showing people what NOT to do in these situations.
BTW, the two guys should have taken most of the water and started walking back towards pavement the moment the truck became stuck. Walking all night and during the cool part of the day, they could easily cover 35-40 miles in a day. The closer they got to pavement, the better chance they have of getting a cell phone signal. Young people can and have done such things to save themselves.
