Spoilers ahead
So Rob spends the whole movie interrogating everyone about his pig only to discover from the last guy that she died as they kidnapped her.
Yet all the people involved tell him that she was taken here or there to deliver her to this or that place but never tell him she was dead, EVEN IF IT IS CLEAR HE WANTS HER BACK ALIVE.
Including the junkies that kill her. Nobody ever said "but she was dead".

i don't have the dialogue committed to memory, but i'm almost certain he said the pig was in bad shape, that they weren't careful.

I took that as she arrived in bad shape and either died afterwards or was put out of her misery.
Yeah, its really a bad film and story. And the fact that Rob has no reaction whatsoever when he learns this made me wonder what was the point of any of it.
