Stay tuned after the credits...
It shows a clip from Malevolence of Courtney running around the old Sutter house with a cutaway shot of the new 5 years older Martin turning around to look. Pretty eerie.

shareahh, thanks for the heads up! I totally would have missed that.
That was a pretty cool tie in though. I wonder if they planned ahead and filmed that scene specifically for this film, or if it was just a deleted scene they tacked on for good measure?
I don't know....but he's working on the final trilogy now he said. His other film he was going to do fell thru so he's gonna finish up the trilogy. Woot.

Nah it wasn't a deleted scene in the after credits thing. They just used footage from Malevolence (Courtney running, zoom in on window, crane over factory walls, Courtney walking into house, then a newly shot cutaway to Martin sitting in a chair facing away from the camera and a new voice over from Courtney apparently talking directly to Martin asking him for help and that's when he turns around and I believe smiles and cut to black. But they re-color timed the original Malevolence footage and it definitely makes me wanna see a Malevolence Bluray. The re-used footage doesn't look as cheap and was a lot cleaner looking than I ever remember it looking on DVD.
shareI'd love to see Malovelonce on blu-ray as the cinematography and locations on it (different look and feel than Bereavement, but still fantastic) would be ideal for the format (never mind that I like the movie).
I remember the Malovolence dvd looking quite nice, but the aspect ratio of the scene was changed to Bereavement's ratio.
