Just Awful Movie. And What A Goofy Ass Killer!

I Watch A Lot Of Horror Movies And I Can Appreciate Even The Most Low Budget B Movie If It Has Something To Offer. This Did Not. This Movie Tries To Be A Thriller, A Slasher Flick, And A Torture Flick All At The Same Time And Fails Epically At All Of Them. The Acting By Some Isn't Terrible Just Kind Of Well...Off.The Ridiculous Story Is About This Backwater Inbred Shut In Named Sutter Who Lives In His Dead Fathers Old Abandoned Meat Packing Plant (Most Original Idea Ever!).He Was Apparently Abused (Probably Sexually) And Maybe Forced Into Some Weird Religion Involving Cows Because He Talks To Cow Effigies About Redemption And Argues About Their "Plans" For Him. He's Abducted A Little Boy Named Martin Who Has A Disorder That Doesn't Let Him Feel Pain. The Boy Has Lived With Him For The Past Five Years Being Told He Has No Feelings And Therefor No Soul To "Redeem".He Is Forced To Sleep In A Cellar Type Hole And Has To Watch As The Killer Tortures Local Girls He Abducts And Murders To Repay His Debt To The Cow God/Devil Effigies I Guess For Working In A Meat Packing Plant.Oh And The Little Boy Martin Cleans Up The Messes And Gets Bathed By The Freak Killer Guy. The Protagonist Of The Film Is A Teenage Girl Who Has Moved To Her Uncle's House After Her Parents Die (Never Heard That Before Right?) Her Generic Story Is The Most Interesting Part Of The Movie And I Use The Term Interesting Very Loosely. It's Just A Crappy Movie So Avoid It.

I really enjoyed the movie. I think it and Insidious are the two best horror movies I saw this year. And just a little bit of advice, it is kind of hard to read your posts when every word is capitalized.

For the most part I thought Insidious was great, and I agree about the capitalization, but I felt like this movie could have been better. The ending particularly bothered me. I can't say I have ever been in a situation like that before, but I know that I wouldn't carry a child that is capable of walking over a long distance like that....and I would never bring him into a burning home. Most of this movie was just screaming and wondering when the kid is going to finally kill someone. They could have made this so much better!
