Awful movie. What's wrong here?

This piece of junk has a 7/10?!?! What's wrong with people?
And what about all the reviews?
I cannot believe there are mentally sane people behind these reviews and high rating!
What's going on?

The acting was incredibly bad, especially Allison and the crazy guy. The story was boring. The screaming was annoying (it makes you want them to die just to shut up). There is not one thing I liked about this movie (well, the dog was cute), a true waste of time.

I feel manipulated. I watched this movie because of the high rating and reviews.
After seeing this I don't know what to believe anymore here on IMDB.

Yeah, I feel that the movie is rated much too high -- but there aren't many votes. It'll drop drastically over time, I'm sure. The only thing I liked about it were the kills. They were very well-done. The acting was very bed, especially - like you said - from Alexandra Daddario. The sequences with Sutter torturing the women felt very out of place here -- like they were only inserted for pacing purposes, to make sure people didn't get bored. It didn't work, because everything in-between the murder sequences was tedious and hackneyed.

It's nowhere near one of the worst films I've seen, but I didn't enjoy it. I'd probably give it a 4/10.

Yeah I'm pretty bummed.. All the horror pages I "like" on Facebook have people raving about this and malevolence. I didn't watch that one but now I'm not sure it'd be worth it. This movie sucked. Nothing happened. Pointless love story attempt, pointless scenes. Screaming even after you've been stabbed a few times... Just, bad.
