Hi user2334. As India-Ana noted, Fifty Shades of Grey started as Twilight fanfiction. Many of the fans started as fans of Twilight (a much better-written book than Fifty Shades.) By the way, HBO broadcasts the Fifty Shades of Grey movie all the time.
