its seriously not that bad

its really not as bad as everyone says it is. I avoided it for a long time, but a family member started urging me to watch it with them, which I did, and now we are gonna watch all of them in order. it keeps my interest which is what is important to me.

About a year ago I set a week's worth of nights aside and I watched all the Twilight movies. I had a great time, but I must say, not for the right reasons. The movies are watchable and fun, yes, but they are just so poorly written and the acting is clunky and some special effects were quite silly.

Are they garbage? No, not entirely. But they are not great films, and are entirely worthy of being made fun of. No shame in enjoying the occasional crappy movie though!

The scene in the forest where Bella tells Edward she knows he is a vampire is so badly writtten, edited and acted, it makes me cringe, laugh hysterically, then shudder. In that order.

I agree. Though I did love Charlie. I felt he was the only truly sympathetic character in the entire saga.

And of course, who can forget the Volturi. They were a hoot. Especially Aro.

Seize the moment, 'cause tomorrow you might be dead.

I am not sure if there is any worse books, but I know that there are worse Vampire movies out there than twilight. The one with Nicholas Cage comes to mind. There is also the Littlest Vampire that has vampire cows in it.

I read the books when the first movie came out and I've seen each movie twice. I'm rewatching Twilght now and haven't seen it in years. I forgot how much I loved it. I honestly could careless if others hate it. That's their opinion and has nothing to do with me and my opinion.

When someone ask me "if this movie / book good?" I answer "I personally love / like it But watch /read it and judge for yourself" how many times has a movie /book been given negative reviews and I have enjoyed it because I listen to myself not to others!

A lot of books/movies that I love, I learned about through haters/bashers.

I personally like both the movies and books, they are a great read every once in a while. Simple, teen romance that doesn't need a whole lot of dictionary/googling to figure out its good.

reply

I agree with you.

no doubt they were a fad and are not truly Oscar-winning movies. but there good and the people in them used them well as a way up, I mean come on, we can't all keep trashing on Twilight. It's literally the movie equivalent of a middle-class white girl, here on the internet.

Not bad at all. I enjoy the movies very much myself. They get hated on because people keep thinking of them as "horror" movies. Which is the furthest thing from the truth. They are romance movies. You can not compare the two.

Let's bash on the worst franchise for thinking people in all of mankind - that'd be the Twilight franchise

This franchise proved how stupid and moronic girls can be in buying into such ridiculous ideas. Interesting how the franchise just died in pop culture, which is good news for anyone with a brain. I did like Eclipse, as it had a cool director but the original movie especially was horrible. Here is a reviewer who says it better than anyone else.

Yeah, it is. If you have a true knowledge of the occult, a scrotum, maturity, taste, or any combination thereof, it appears to you as pure pablum. Look the word up.
