Do you mean people who used to post here? Or characters in a book/movie/tv show?

I think most fans have either moved on to other IMDb boards, or to offsite fan boards. Sadly, old threads get purged.

If they lurk here from time to time, and this thread isn't deleted before then, maybe they will post here, or PM you. 

You can try doing a search for their usernames to see if you can find them on other message sites. That can sometimes work when the username is unique.
