Does anyone else think Lily Collins would have made a better Bella? She's a better actor and has a softer look that fits the character.

shareNo Kristen did an amazing job, the role of Bella suits her style in real life too. Lily could be cast in a sequel as a vampire that threatens to come between Bella and Edward.

shareI think she's probably too pretty to have played Bella, who was supposed to be attractive but not overwhelmingly so. Kristen Stewart was pretty enough to play the part but her attractiveness wasn't distracting, so I think her looks were spot on. Her acting on the other hand was not good. She was much too snarky and detached to play Bella, who was very deep and sensitive. When I read the book, I always pictured someone like Jennifer Love Hewitt playing Bella, but of course she was too old for the part.
