Love the show but the team being so bad sucks.

I agree.
I don't need a Disney ending, but to believe that THIS team can't win a game is not something I believe.

It's soccer ("football") that sucks. Watching twenty-two guys run around chaotically for two or three hours, only to end 0-0 or 1-0 or 1-1, is excruciating.

Baseball fan? Soccer isn't about goals, it's about the play, the anticipation, the drama. Breaking it down to goals is like saying American Football is all about the quarterback.

Well there's a lot to be happy about in episode 12 but they have to sneak in the drama too.

Good, that was the idea. The actual focus of the show is on the characters. Football is just the backdrop.
