What the hell did I just watch?

Ok, first of all, the acting and performances by everyone was excellent especially the lead actress Danica who I liked from the series "The Mist". This plot however, is nothing new or different and reminded me of "Midsommar" which included great suspense and thriller to keep me engaged enough to finish all six episodes, nevertheless, the final reveal was not properly explained and was left as a partial and vague cliffhanger leaving the viewers to fill in the blanks.

Sometimes I think that it would be better to watch the final episode of a series first and then decide weather to proceed from the beginning...lol

I agree. The series was good enough to keep me watching but that last ten minutes was such a letdown … if I even understand it. I also thought of the Midsommar connection but so many unanswered questions. And that lead actress was in the Mist? The Movie? I love that movie but don’t remember her. I’ll have to watch it again. Oh, and the dad in the movie, creepy AF.
