Had kind of high expectations, I guess because it's Peele.
In the third act, I thought: this is basically Tremors (1990), but flying instead of under the ground.
Not a bad thing, I suppose, but I was expecting some bigger scope, or something. Especially since this had quite a bigger budget than Tremors (about x3, inflation-adjusted).
I AGREE...IT WAS ENTERTAINING AND WELL ACTED...HAD SOME GREAT MOMENTS...BUT OVERALL IT WAS KIND OF FORGETTABLE.
shareI agree the first 2 acts are phenomenal but act 3 basically turns into Tremors. They ride horses, have to stand still to avoid detection, they try baiting it to kill it, the ending is very similar. Tremors did it better though. I really wish this film stuck out the landing and stayed a horror film like it did the first 2 acts instead of turning into a fun PG-13 action comedy.
