Coral? Children? Heal? All Must Die

What's so special about the coral they went through? What protects them from the age field effect? Is there a specific meteorite or something that landed near that part of the beach that causes cellular degeneration acceleration at 7 years per 3 hours (56 years in 24 hours)?

Why must the children be involved? They're not suffering from any ailments. Why not make it a vacation getaway for adults only and only target those with illnesses? Special resort kind of thing. I'm sure there are plenty of single or old folk willing to take time off their significant other or family for time alone. Whole deal was messed up with them meddling kids.

If you heal as fast as wolverine after seeing Charles slash at Guy and Prisca so many times yet survive, why didn't the rapper survive?

Movie made you wish the whole group from experiment 73 died. They were so immature and annoying, the lot of them minus Maddox and Jarin who seemed the most sane.

It’s never 100 percent explained, but it’s suggested that the rocks that surround the little cove that the characters get trapped in are … special, somehow.

From what I surmise, the coral acts as a protective tube against whatever energy is being emitted by the rocks. This allows the kids to pass through the invisible barrier that was knocking people unconscious on the cliff, and in the caves and water.

Because the wounds inflicted on Guy and Prisca were not fatal, and so they healed. The rapper had multiple fatal blows, puncturing vital organs, hence his death. There's no healing from that even without the rapid aging process.
