Wow. I can't believe how bad the art is in that comic book. Amazing that it ever got published.

The comic definitely had better pacing than the film, and didn't have horribly obtuse camera angles, but I'll go ahead and say the film had the better ending, even if it was kinda predictable.
There's no real spoiler or twist. The film is an intense experience, and it makes you think about a lot of what we take for granted in our lives. There's a sort of explanation at the end, but it was more a clarification/expansion on what we already knew to be the case.
