THE MCU JUST WORKS FOR ME...I LOVED THE COMICS AS A KID AND I LOVE THE FILMS AS AN ADULT...EVEN THE LESSER FILMS I ENJOY.
I DID NOT READ DC AS A KID AND NOW AS AN ADULT I DISLIKE DC FILMS MOSTLY...SO NOSTALGIA ONCE AGAIN TAKES A HAND....WELL...THAT AND QUALITY.
For me, this is one of the weakest Marvel films. I watched it once, rated it a 6/10 and doubt I would ever watch it again.
shareI AM 41 MINUTES IN...THIS IS MY SECOND VIEWING....I AM DIGGING IT...I WOULD NOT CALL IT ONE OF THE BEST MARVEL MOVIES...BUT IT ISN'T BAD EITHER...GREAT CAST...COOL SETTING AND CHARACTERS...IT'S LIKE THESE MOVIES WERE MADE FOR ME.
shareIt is not terrible at all, but it is extremely disappointing. MODOK was awful and tying him to Kang didn't make any sense. Also the quantum realm should have been super cool but instead turned out to be like one of those poorly done future cities in a bad science fiction movie. And why didn't they call it by its original name, the mircoverse? Calling it that would have opened the door for the Mirconauts and Baron Karza.
