Janet Van Dyne
Was a fun-loving fashion-designing socialite in the comics, but they blandified her character, and made her into yet another boring, super-serious, overly-earnest scientist. What a WASTE of Michelle Pfeiffer's talents. Watching a deglamourised Michelle Pfeiffer, one of the most beautiful women in the world, given dull, dry expository lines to work with, crap hair, and ugly clothes, when she would have absolutely eaten up a more faithful version of Janet, is a frickin tragedy.
It's typical Disney/MCU worthiness, and pseudo-'everyone must be in STEM'-feminism, which belittles the choices of billions of women who *aren't* scientists, and just want to have fun being pretty and silly and feminine, and what the hell's wrong with that? 😠Stop judging. It's sexist!
