I'm reluctant to watch it again just in case it's any less hilarious than I remembered.

Somehow I doubt that's the case...

i've been watching this movie over and over again (well, my favourite scenes), and it's just too funny. the soul dancing/lucky crack *beep* elk, the part where he has sex with the girl in the parking lot, the scene in the car (to the break of daaawn, baby!). too much. nic cage was superb.
