The story was crap. The pace was crap. The acting was crap.

No its a beeping masterpiece. Just watch the first five minuts again. The sympathy in the Cage character shift so many times.

The problem was perhaps that is was a little experimental and less of the mainstream genre. I consider it a good movie for those bizarre scenes. Every detail was well though from my humble opinion.
