I don't want to spoil myself so I haven't looked through the other threads.

Anyway, I freaking hate Mallory!!! I'm around halfway through season 2. Please tell me she gets more bearable or leaves permanently? 😩

Mallory actually does both. She gets more bearable, and she leaves permanently.

I meant I didn't want to spoil myself on other things! I'm Australian and we unfortunately don't get much Canadian shows unless America picks them up so I've only just gotten into this show :)

I absolutely clicked on that tag so thank you very much for only putting info about Mallory :)

She does get better, but I find her voice and mannerisms are highly annoying.

You think she's bad? Just you wait for Season 7 where they introduce the annoying Jade.

I agree, I also find her very annoying most of the time, she's always so whiny and acts like a know-it-all and talks alot all the time, kinda bratty...but there are a few moments when she doesn't bother me. Overall I don't exactly "hate" Mallory as a character, I just find her irritating usually. But what I do appreciate about Mallory is that she's very straightforward and honest, while everyone else in the family constantly beats around the bush on certain situations and avoids discussing the subjects at hand, Mallory would often come in and just tell things as it is which forces the family to face the situations. Mallory really was like the conscience that sometimes forces the family to be honest with their problems, and I kinda miss her in that sense. Despite how much I find Mallory annoying most of the time, but she did bring her own dynamic to the show, and now that she's gone, it feels a little different now.
And yes she does eventually leave the show permanently, but I won't tell you which season.

Am I the only one that liked Mallory? She provided most of the comic relief, albeit thru sometimes being annoying. I missed her when she left.

I liked Mallory as well. She was like the annoying little sister you love but want to shut up sometimes. She was great comic relief as well when she'd just say straight forward things that everyone else was probably thinking but afraid to say. I did think they made her to whinny in S6 and S7. She lost the charm she used to,have but i think it's because they gave a lot of the more blunt statements to Georgie instead. I felt like they realized their younger characters were growing up and they brought Georgie and gave her traits from Mallory, Amy and even Ty's personality and background to make up for it. It's like they tried to take all the interesting characteristics from those characters and give them all to Georgie.

I liked her too and the show died a little when Mallory left permanently.
