Talk about a dream job...

From her Biography on IMDB...

A former veterinary assistant who is passionate about all animals, Amber has been around horses as long as she can remember. She has been riding since a very young age and says that the two things she loves the most - acting and horses - have come together to create this dream role of Amy on the Heartland series. Amber loves to be outdoors and enjoys overnight mountain trips with her horses and dogs. As Heartland films in Alberta, she has made a home for herself with her husband on a ranch outside of Calgary where she is surrounded by stunning vistas and of course, her animals.

no wonder Amber Marshell is so good with horses on the show and it's actually convincing...some actors train to handle horses for specific roles they play and sometimes it's not very convincing, because it's obvious that some of them are actually not very good with horses in real-life, and only trained for a certain amount of time just for the specific role they play. Amber has actually worked with horses and has been around them for so many years she can't even remember, so she's already very trained and experienced with them, and that shows with how she handles the horses on the show, and hence why she's so believable and convincing in her skills. They definitely chose the right actress for the role.

Tatiana Maslany also looked like a natural riding horses whether she was trained before or already knew. Then again, Tatiana's incredibly talented so she just keeps on wowing me. 

My point wasn't so much that she was perfect for the job (which she is), but that the job was perfect for her.

I think she would be very hard pressed to come up with a complaint about her situation. She must love going to work.

If you get used to that type of weather it becomes normal and your body won't react negatively.

I'm sure Amber probably feels right at home on those filming sets...I wonder if she ever feels this is 'work' to her? I mean, she's been around horses all her life, and probably grew up in the same environment, and has some similarities to her character Amy...it seems like this character was created just for her.
I know some people who are able to have their dream jobs as a career, and they all tell me that it doesn't feel like just a "job" to them, they say that they're simply doing what they love to do. Maybe it's the same case with Amber...maybe to her, being on this show is just something she loves to do, instead of seeing it as just a mere "job".
