Audio problems streaming

I live in the States and have recently downloaded the developer version of Opera so that I can use vpn to watch Heartland. I tried a couple of different season 9 episodes on the CBC site and they load just fine but there's no audio. The ads before the show play fine and have audio but when the episode starts it plays but without audio.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a workaround? I've only seen the first episode of season 9 but was going to catch up on it until I ran into this problem.

I pay for a VPN service and tried streaming last night and had no issues. It could be the the service you're using.

I too downloaded the Opera Browser w/ VPN and had a similar problem commercials would play fine show would start, then 15 mins into the show commercials would start and show would start from the beginning! That was so annoying I never got through episode 1 of season 9!! Uninstalled Opera then I found out that my computer has built in VPN.
