Hollywood has just given up...between reboots and comic book movies, the movie going experience is now over.

No, this is not the same. It is much more diverse. Diversity is our strength. So remakes like this with a more diverse cast proves we are more diverse and that only makes us stronger. Once all tv shows and movies are remade with a diverse cast we will finally realize our full potential as a civilized society. I can't wait for the remake of Jaws with a diverse cast, which means the three principle characters are all black.

Madison Iseman was OK in Jumanji but i don't think she can hold a lead role.
even in this crapfest

hard pass for me.
