Good to see a Horror film staying true to old virtues. Topless scenes rule.

Sick and tired of modern Hipster-Horror and PG-13 Jumpscare Horror doing away with breasts. I'm fed up boys, beyond fed up. I grew up watching Horror where it was an expectation. Now it's a pleasant surprise!

X (2022) was another 2022 return to ye' good old days.

I grant bonus points to all Horror films which contain the obligatory tit shot. A good pair of breasts make any film better.

Now...films don't NEED topless scenes but I can't name one that was worse for having one.

I'm with you on that. But Dario Argento has never seemed comfortable with nudity. Some of his movies have a little, but not much compared to other Italian directors. As good an eye as he has (or had) for interesting set design and camera shots, he just doesn't seem to have that "male gaze" thing a voyeur like me has and appreciates.

And as I expected, there was barely any nudity in this. Two very brief shots of the lead Ilenia Pastorelli were barely worth mentioning. Just perfunctory quick shots Argento put in, but not really any eye candy.

Who I would have liked to see on display would have been the escort killed at the open (Viktorie Ignoto) or the blonde cop lady (Maria Rosario Russo). Both very attractive.
