I too get tired of the Christian bashing it's overdone now. From a non believer. And this movie did bash Christians. They think it's all hip and cool and they are smarter then everyone else.These writers are the same smart-asses the we used to depants and throw them out in the hallways back in junior HS. And the never got over it.

I don't believe you're "non-religious," you doth protest too much! It wasn't so much "christian bashing" as bashing wholly imaginary theories of the origin of species, which deserve much bashing these days as with all we know now about the facts some people are still so blinded by their beliefs, and some who know better but are hypocrites.

shareOverdone is an understatement. The internet is loaded with people (mostly young people I imagine) who think they have all the answers to something that beyond our comprehension. People should at the very least be agnostic towards the matter not so athesistic and sure of themselves and have respect for people of different beliefs. As far as the movie is concerned; It's worst sin is it wasn't in the least bit funny.
