What I don't get is why the first quick response team got sent in with only two Chinoecks and no support of any attack choppers? In the end their were apache attack choppers in the air, a med evac chopper and even a C130 Spectre gunship!!

When the first QRF was dispatched, all other close air support were engaged elsewhere. There were other troops under fire that required air support. By the end, the air support was available
