It looks very promising.
Hiroshi Nagahama most known work is Mushishi, which is one of the top ranked Animes in the Iyashikei Anime genre, and I think probably the first highly popular one (either this one or Aria, of of both).
Iyashikei Anime could be translated as 'healing' or 'feel-good' Anime. It uses to have a minimal plot, very slow pace and relaxing tone.
The short clip has the common tone and bucolic pace of Iyashikei Anime, while at the same time something feels off. That actually fits the original Junji Ito's manga (which is a masterpiece). That manga has a similar pace to what's called 'fok horror' (The Wicker Man, 1973), where the bucolic tone slowly turns into a much scarier one.
It seems they got the right tone, which is one of the most difficult things in Horror.
