Why is Watson A complete A-Hole in this? He treats the irregulars like complete crap, and there is just an overall sinister vibe to him? What exactly are they going for with this?

I take it you haven't watched all the episodes , I won't spoil it for you but I'll just say that he has a quite interesting character arc .
