I don't know if the Rufus character is in it, but I'd be okay w/ Mark in the role.

I wouldn't want them to replace the character nor introduce another to take his place. George Carlin will always be Rufus to me. He was the perfect mentor when guiding Bill & Ted in their travels.

If anything, it would be great if they had some sort of monument with a backstory explaining all of his greatest achievements helping the future generation understand the excellence of Bill & Ted.

I'm sure whatever they come up with will be hilarious. It doesn't necessarily have to be a downer.

Maybe Bill and Ted will become the Rufus for new travelers.
