People who call this woke obviously never read the comics.

She Hulk has been around since the early 80's and she is very different from her cousin Bruce Banner and she was not conceived as a replacement for him. She was part of the Fantastic four for a while. She was a comic book character who broke the fourth wall and spoke to her readers way before Deadpool was even created. As a kid I loved reading her comic. It annoy me that non comic book reader seems to think she was just created by the MCU for some woke agenda. It is an insult to a great beloved comic book character.

First appearance of She-Hulk in comics was in 1980 , also people saying this show will be woke cause she will be in a lesbian relationship unlike the comics

Ha my bad I got the first issue year wrong , I was thinking 79 because the art looks so 70's in the first issue haha (Correcting now). Where exactly was it confirmed she will be in a lesbian relationship ?! Now that is a different thing altogether , I would be disappointed if they change her sexual orientation because I like her on and off thing she has with Wyatt Wingfoot and was hoping for him to make an appearance...

I enjoyed the John Bryne run.

None of that makes her woke.
Recent comics featuring her (and most characters really) have been super woke.

Since she’s another strong female character in current year, suspicions are high that the show will be woke. That said, she looked kind of sexy in the trailer, which shocked many people including me. We thought women weren’t allowed to look hot anymore since the male gaze is bad.
