Shawn's little sister was that her real name? At first I thought that was just a dumb nicknamed he called her but they never revealed her "real" name throughout the movie so I guess it was her real name. Lol what a foolish name. And didanyone found her to be real snotty and annoying. I'm mean, like how did she even go to their cheerleading camp? wasn't she like 12 and also she was really rude. She was cursing too much and I just found her to be disturbing and I was annoyed every time she popped up on screen. I feel that her part in the movie just brought it down (it was already pretty awful). In all trues they just should have cut her from the entire movie...she had no legitimate purpose

I found her snotty but not annoying. She was ultimately funny and helpful to the plot.

She went to the cheerleading camp because she enjoys the activity? I don't think it matters if you're 12. They probably take anyone who's enrolled in a school, high school or younger. We just don't see the middle school squads because it's not required for the story.

She helped the characters learn their cheerleading moves, helped convince the girls (Bianca, Angela, Sylvia) to take the boys into their squad, got them a sponsor to afford the team's cheerleader uniforms at the end. She's arguably as necessary to the plot as John Michael Higgins or "Brewster/Jack".

I thought Poppy was hilarious. The scene in her bedroom when the guys have to come to her for a favor is hilarious. Her snotty attitude was clearly on purpose because she was acting like a jaded business woman...
Also, they say that she's "killing on the JV squad", aka the junior varsity cheer squad, so of course she would go to cheer camp...
