shareMost teen/sex movies fit this formula.
Meet Guy
Guy meets a "special girl"
Girl finds out about guy's past/motives; fight
Guy redeems himself
Guy gets Girl
Maybe pull camera back and fade to credits
Just watch She's All That, There's Something About Mary, Not Another Teen Movie, Wedding Crashers, The Girl Next Door, Old School, Van Wilder, Just Friends, Employee of the Month, Deuce Bigalow, Coming to America, Accepted, Billy Madison, Sex Drive, etc.
"I'm gonna get nice and drunk; play some video games until my eyes bleed."
But none of those are as funny...
I feel cranky and pubescent today and I don't know why. I'm going to take it out on people I like!
Accepted. The only comedy I liked as much as this one
shareHey sex drive was freaking awesome - I thought it was a real suprise package and actually made this Genre which I have not found amusing in a long while funny again!!
I want some sour cream and onion chips...and some dip man...
among the movies mentioned above, girl next door and accepted were pretty good, rest are average movies
You didn't like Coming to America, Wedding Crashers or There's Something About Mary? Wow.
"Oh, my God. Bear is driving! How can that be?!"

"Hot Rod" is excellent, hilarious, and has a very similar nouveau-80s/sun-drenched, laid-back suburbia vibe. I'd call "Fired Up" a low-fat "Hot Rod"; while the latter is definitely the better film, it also has some weightier plot elements, whereas this one is pure cheese. But they do occupy a similar slice of the cinematic universe...
shareWow!
How can anyone miss American Pie's Band Camp!!! Intruders w/the mission to get laid, I bet both movies used the same script. Just exchange band for cheer, and you got this masterpiece. So many similarities, you can NOT like one w/o the other. Every single detail, up to the older female counselor havving an incognito-booty on the side.
Because it sucked and went straight to DVD, and barely anyone saw it, and out of that small population that saw it, even a smaller population liked it enough to remember it two days later.
"Oh, my God. Bear is driving! How can that be?!"
Eurotrip.
shareYeah! There is a movie called Lame Adolescent Idiots. It is great. Check it out.
shareit's a fair question - i like a good comedy with reasonable production values. there isn't much that ranks in the same league as this film ('shock' dialogue is rarely executed well).
try:
evil woman
back to school
mean girls
charlie bartlett
Definitely check out
Mean Girls
Pineapple Express
Pretty Persuasion
Seems to me you're just plain scared

The only one I can think of that might be remotely similar is Whoopi Goldberg's Sister Act, but Fired Up is in a class of its ownSource: http://moviereviews.noskram.com/2009/09/movie-reviews-for-fired-up
shareI like it, my wife likes it, and at least one of her coworkers likes it.
