The movie has been described as both a sports drama and a sports comedy!

Maybe because it is a human interest story inspired by a real life sports event, and according to those who have seen an early screening ( BNAT film festival organized by Harry Knowles and the AICN group), laced with humor and warmth!

Looking forward to it!

reply

Well I knew this film would be a'bit of both as that is how it was in the 88 Olympics remember watching it as a kid, So it will be like other true story Cool Running's

Love the 80's music as well they have put in the trailer

reply

Re the 80's music in the trailer --

These were tweeted by Gary Barlow of the band TAKE THAT ( formed in 1990), who has written the musical score, including the song THRILL ME, for the movie :

Well that would take you a long long time to visit all of the UK so you might as well live out here 

How comes you don't like musical films?? But I did actually mean Musical theatre

reply

Yes, it would be a dream to live in U.K. 😃
I never like.
sorry, I don´t like musical theater. Personally, I prefer the Cinema. 😊

reply

Well when you come over come to places in London, Kent, Devon, etc

What don't you like bout Musical films or Theater?
Surly though you still watch TV shows or films on the TV don't have to be cinema 
you say you prefer cinema but that means you could also like the other thing- you can't say you don't like something and then prefer whateva
example: I like food from Italy but Prefer Indian food you get me?
But if you don't like something you say it like: I don't like Marmite but I like Jam

Plenty of good musicals films/stage over the years + now with good story and acting/special effects /sets like- Oliver, Mary Poppins, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita,CATS, Starlight Express,Les Miserables, TIME, Phantom of the opera, Chess, Annie, Miss Saigon,
Buddy Holly Story, Grease, Charlie + chocolate factory, Thriller Live, Lion King, Aladdin, Jersey Boys, Kinky Boots etc

give you a example this is West End show for: Charlie + the Chocolate Factory been on for a good 2 + half years and you wouldn't enjoy this????

www.youtube.com/watch?v=pW31DrHTewI

reply

I promise to go to all those places!
I meant is that I like going to the cinema, the theater no (but at least here, the works I do not like, nose in other countries as are) but not talked about musicals or musical works (because, as you clarify I do not like)
Thanks for the recommendation, I promise I'll look at them, maybe some I like (but I do not think, musical movies bore me)
Watch the video and looks very cute in costumes, makeup, but what is not music.

Sorry if you do not understand something or esprese me wrong, but did not speak very good English, I am studying the language and am learning slowly.😄😄
