Was Alan Rickman involved with this film?

Hugh Jackman posted a touching tribute to Alan and also posted this picture:

Was he just a friend to members of the cast and crew who visited the set or will this be the last film we see him act in?

The second photo also shows Jamie Oliver ( the famous British chef) with the group, as well as Alan's wife Rima Horton.

Maybe it was just a group of friends out for a private dinner, presumably hosted by Jamie. Btw, Hugh has supported one of Jamie's advocacies ( if I am not mistaken, about food served to schoolchildren) in the past.

Just guessing, of course.
