I swear I heard a radio announcement after Eddie jumped at the Olympics where they said "the jamaican bobsled team is trying to steal Eddie's thunder" or something like that. Anyone else hear that?

I can't remember the commentator's exact wording, but yes: the Jamaican bobsleigh team get a brief mention.
I thought it was a nice touch, and it made me chuckle at the time...

Maybe if Eddie had kissed the Lucky Egg he may have been more successful 
