Practical Magic Score

Did anyone else notice the uncanny resemblance of the score to Alan Silvestri's from the Sandra Bullock/Nicole Kidman flick Practical Magic? Too similar to overlook.

Yes! During the tree decorating scene especially.

YES! I noticed Practical Magic score references throughout the movie! I looked here on IMDB hoping to find an explanation or a "confession." Glad someone else heard the resemblance!

Watching the tree decorating scene again now and I'm struck by this for the second time - came back to IMDB and I see that a couple folks are in the same boat as me! :)

Thank you! I've been trying to remember the name of the movie the music reminded me of since I heard it. It shows up several times in the film!

Yes, this drove me crazy! I used the music for my wedding so it really stood out to me, since I listened to it a million times.

Seeing as how the title/composer was deleted - could someone please tell me what it was? I really like that piece of music and have dug through YouTube trying to locate it.

Practical Magic music was composed by Alan Silvestri. A Princess for Christmas was composed by Mark Thomas.

I completely agree....very similar to Practical Magic music.....
