When I watched this on TV last Christmas...

I thought it was a typical, feel-good, Hallmark cheese fest (which it is), and I watched it with my sister because she has special needs and she LOVED it. In April, I decided to start reading the Outlander series while watching the TV show at the same time. When I realized that Prince Ashton was played by Sam Heughan, I nearly fell off my chair! While he is an absolute dream to behold, I'm doubly impressed at what a versatile actor he is. I would have thought Ashton and Jamie were played by two completely different actors if I hadn't visited his IMDB page. Well done, Sam! Looking forward to seeing what he does in the future. For now, I'm totally hooked on Outlander. :-)
