Well, that didn't happen...
shareWell? We’re waiting to be proven wrong.
shareThings Clickbait Youtube Channel were wrong about
1)Teela and Andra didn't become a gay couple
2)Teela didn't Replace He-man
3)Andra didn't Replace He-man.
Things i was right about
1) Teela Became the new Sorceress
Things YouTubers were right about:
1) Teela was the main character
2) He-Man was sidelined
Sure it was about Teela. You can tell a story about her becoming the sorceress without it being teela. But He-man kick as shit loads of ass in Part 2. I don't consider that to be Sidelined. Besides not everybody hates Teela.
shareI wouldn’t call one episode as “kicking shit-loads of ass”.
And nobody says they hated Teela, they *did* say that in this show she looks like a man; acts like an entitled bitch; and that she shouldn’t have been the main character.
He was absolutely sidelined in part 2. The big fight was about her and Evil Lyn.He-Man needed help fighting Evil Lyn.
shareHe-Man was dead in part 1. Complaints about him being sidelined are disingenuous. There's a reason Teela was the focus - HE WAS DEAD. It's a valid complaint about part 2, particularly the finale, but is frankly fake outrage in regards to part 1.
shareThat's not a good argument. His role was unnecessarily reduced no matter how you put it. Him being killed was what lead him to be sidelined. They planned on reducing He-Man’s role from the start, using his death as an excuse.
What's disingenuous is trying to invalidate people's criticisms over a weak technicality. People being outraged that he was killed and sidelined seems pretty valid to me.
