I thought Abigail Breslin gave a better performance here than in...
Little Miss Sunshine. She was great in LMS but in this, she was OUTSTANDING!!

No I think she was equally good in each. But the role she has in My Sister's Keeper is far bigger one than the one she had in Little Miss Sunshie (not that it wasn't a big role too, just smaller). This one was also a lot more emotionally charged becausse in LMS she played a normal kid who is innocent about things in general and doesn't really realise what goes on around her (nowhere does she have a big epiphany about the pageants she loves so much for example), while in this one, her character gets catapulted in the middle of one of the worst moral dilemmas anyone can ever face. Se has o act like an adult even tough she's only a chld.

I agree. I thought the whole cast was very strong in difficult roles.
What do these have in common?
The Matrix
The Notebook
Juno
Castle (TV show on ABC)
Me too.
Love United. Hate Glazers.
I think she is a great little actress... The twists of the plot were total surprises because she acted the part so well. I felt she was totally justified in her case but was blown away by her truly selfless act for her sister.
shareMe too. Abigail turned 13 when this came out..
MAGIC=Sarah Silverman.
come to think of it, i agree, as great as i thought she was in little miss sunshine.
