Ever been catfished?
I have been. It was a long time ago. I think it was easier to do then. Regardless, it was awful.

At least she was who she said she was though. I think it’s worse when you start liking someone a lot and then you find out it’s not even then in the photo or they lie about everything.
true, but when you crop your picture just for your face, its kind of misleading. it was literally from the chin up.
but luckily never been catfished, I was stood up one time, that was awkward. I sent her a text and she pretended she didnt know about the date.
You're a guy? I thought you were a woman!
shareI once dated a woman in 2020 who used a VERY old photo for her Plenty of Fish profile. How old? Circa 2008.
shareThat’s insane! Did she at least look similar to the photo? And that’s almost the same as putting someone else’s picture on there. I think I read a story about a woman who used her daughters photo….what a sicko
shareShe put on a lot of pounds and wasn't as lady-like. She looked like a trucker. Any semblance of beauty in her face was long gone. I wouldn't say she became repulsive, but she was quite unattractive. I would say 4/10.
shareYep. Talked to a guy for about 6 months. Met, and yeah, none of the pictures he sent were of him.
shareYes. Was doing the online thing and she put a picture of herself when she was a few years younger and weighed about 80 lbs less. Still did the date and it was pleasant. She was a doctoral candidate and could talk about things beyond entertainment news. Couldn't go out with her again though, as one of the rules I live by is to never seriously date any girl that outweighs me.

this is one of my rules too, if your arms are bigger than mine, then it wont work out...
